This year, Wicksteed Parks Firework Spectacular is taking place on November 7.

The first display was in 2002, which proved to be the start of a long-lasting tradition as this year's spectacular marks 25 years since the parks first display.

Each year, the event has been a roaring success, with 2020 being the only year it had to cancel due to covid.

The dazzling show attracts thousands of people each year, offering families a fun and affordable evening.

"The display itself is excellent and is set to music appealing to a multi-generational audience. The atmosphere inside the gates is phenomenal and it really is a night to remember. We work hard to maintain an affordable gate price meaning we are aligned with village display pricing while offering major event facilities".

Said Wicksteed Park director, Kelly Richardson.

Wicksteed's location provides easy access to people, due to its convenient parking scheme, encouraging locals to attend the night.

Due to the large numbers of visitors, enough money is made to keep the tradition alive.

Kelly Richardson said:

"As a venue with seasonal trading activities primarily falling within the summer months, the annual fireworks display is a vital source of revenue when the Park’s main activities are closed".

For this years extravaganza, you should expect, music, food, a buzzing crowd and, of course, fireworks, fireworks and more fireworks.

The early bird tickets start at £6 but the offer ends on October 31, so be sure to get your tickets soon!
