Kettering Sports Park is hosting a Halloween Fun Run, registered with England Athletics, to support national campaigns #ThisGirlCan and #LetsLiftTheCurfew.
On October 30 Kettering Sports Park will be lit up to raise awareness for women's safety and to encourage confidence for women in darker months.
The Lets Lift The Curfew campaign highlights challenges faced by women when it starts getting dark much earlier.
Kettering Sports Park is hosting the run at their floodlit athletics track.
This is the first year the event is taking place but they hope enough people show up to happen again.
Fancy dress is welcome.
There will be a clothing stall, and police officers going to do safety talks with the attendees.
The fun run starts at 6pm and finishes at 8pm, and is targeted towards everyone.
Entry is £4.50 for adults and £2.50 for children.
It includes a free drink and discounted future sessions on the track.
