Volunteer

Northants 1 is looking for volunteers to support our events, outside broadcasts and community activity across North Northamptonshire. You could get involved in helping us set up and run at local events, representing the station, speaking to members of the public, supporting live broadcasts, gathering content, assisting presenters and helping us make Northants 1 visible and approachable in the communities we serve. No previous radio or events experience is needed. We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who are comfortable working as part of a team and enjoy meeting others. Depending on the event, there may also be opportunities to help with interviews, social media content, photography, video or behind-the-scenes production. This role is ideal if you want to get involved with Northants 1 without committing to a regular weekly programme, or if you enjoy events, community engagement and being out and about.
