Fa Cup action next for Kettering Town FC.

Kettering Town will hope to continue their Fa Cup Journey,

when they play hosts to Step 4 outfit Cleethorpes Town at Latimer park,

in the Second Qualifying Round, on Saturday afternoon.

The Poppies come into the game off an impressive 2-1 win at St Ives, on Monday evening.

They’re currently sat 8th place, In the Southern League Premier Division Central. (Step 3)

The fixture also saw former Premier League striker Nile Ranger,

make his debut for the club, after 20 months out of football.

Manager Richard Lavery, spoke to the Kettering Town media team,

after the win at St Ives.

And believes his side will go into Saturday’s cup tie, “full of beans”.

He said, “It doesn’t matter who we play at home, I wanted a home draw”.

“They, (Cleethorpes Town FC) play in the division below,

but they’ll be a good test for us”.

The game Kicks off at 3pm, with tickets available on the Club website.
