Wellingborough Town return to league action this week when they travel to Boldmere St Michaels
at the Boldmere Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The doughboys come into the game off an agonising late loss to Corby Town in the FA Trophy.
Despite the result, their performance earned praised from the opposing dugout.
Corby Town boss declared Wellingborough were a “tough team to play against”.
He also said ” They don’t give up, they fight for everything, and if you don’t,
match that, then they can run all over you”.
The doughboys can take solace from the fact Corby town are top of the division,
and similar performances will give them a good platform for results,
sooner rather than later.
The league contest Kicks off at 3pm in Birmingham.
